Public Defender Social Service Advocates connect clients with services at the front-end and back-end of the criminal justice system by developing individualized, community-based treatment plans that focus on a person’s underlying needs and challenges. We provide timely connections and referrals to services for employment, housing, education, counseling, substance abuse disorder and any other need that can help our clients succeed in our communities. When community-based resources are not available or are not appropriate, we advocate to keepour clients in the least restrictive environment suitable to their individualized needs.
